Who We Are
One Egg Group is a Midwest-based hospitality management company currently operating the restaurants Tallgrass Tap House, Guilty Biscuit, Bourbon & Baker, and OEG Catering Kitchen. Our roots have been grown in genuine midwestern hospitality and developed through consistently building engaged teams and loyal guests. Long before our beginnings in 2006 our collective team has believed in creating memorable experiences for those around us each day- both guests and team members. Many of us have spent the majority of our careers together, 16 years and counting, with new team members drawn to our culture and ability to influence the future. Creating these experiences for our team and guests has built One Egg Group into a restaurant management and development company with region-leading guest satisfaction, engaged teams, and mentor-focused leadership development. We are growing our brands while exploring new opportunities as an owner, manager, or concept creator.
At the core of our team and guest experience is our group of experienced leaders. Each leader brings a unique and diverse set of skills that help to bring our One Egg values alive each day.
Our team at One Egg Group believes our businesses are part of a local ecosystem of community success. Our team is involved in various leadership and advisory positions within our local community. In addition to volunteering, we have a history of small and large partnerships with local non-profit organizations. We align our efforts with three key focuses- organizations who are solving local food insecurities, our community’s youth groups, and pet-focused organizations. Central to our set of values is a foundation of teaching and networking. One Egg Group leaders enjoy addressing university classrooms, non-profits, various student groups and trade organizations. Our leaders have addressed groups in a variety of topics including restaurant operations management, team building, independent restaurant workforce management, cost controls and more.
